Travel & Registration Fee
For In-Home Lessons, a $18 monthly travel fee per family will be added. Families with more than one student are still only billed $18. The fee is passed directly to your teacher to cover gas, tolls, and vehicle costs. There is one travel fee per teacher traveling to your home.
$50 Registration Fee (one-time charge) applies to all new students upon enrollment.

Easy Payments
- Invoices sent on the 1st of each month
- Pay via ACH (free) or credit card (3% Stripe processing fee)
- Tuition due by the 5th, with a $15 late fee after the 10th
- All students must have a card on file for seamless billing
Safety & Supervision
All teachers are background-checked. For students under 18, an adult must be present during lessons for a safe environment.
Positive Lesson Environment
Lessons are designed to be upbeat and distraction-free. Questions welcome after lessons or by messaging your teacher.
⏱️ Practice Makes Progress
Practice at least half the lesson length, 5 days/week. (Example: 15 min/day for 30-min lesson.) Parents encouraged to support younger students.
□ Performance Opportunities
All students invited to annual recital! Celebrate progress and build confidence.
□️ Recital fee: $30/student
□ Makeups & Reschedules
Each family gets 3 reschedule credits per trimester:
- Trimester 1: Sep 1–Dec 31
- Trimester 2: Jan 1–Apr 30
- Trimester 3: May 1–Aug 31
Notify teacher with at least 24 hours’ notice for reschedules; emergencies notified by 8 AM day of.
Options include new lesson date or extended future lessons. Unused credits do not carry over.
□ Holidays
Major holidays observed; lessons paused with credit or makeup offered:
- Labor Day, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur
- Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day
- MLK Day, Easter, Eid al-Fitr
- Memorial Day, July 4th
❄️ Inclement Weather
Unsafe travel? Lessons switch to virtual. Power outages? Lessons rescheduled without penalty.
⏳ Missed Lessons & No-Shows
If missed without notice, lesson considered used after 15-minute wait. Use reschedules to avoid loss.
□□ Teacher Absences
If teacher misses, two makeup options offered or full credit if none fit your schedule.
☀️ Flexible Summer Options
- Full Summer Lessons (July + Aug) – 3 reschedules
- Half Summer Lessons (July or Aug) – 1 reschedule
- Flex Pack – 6 or 8 prescheduled lessons (no reschedules, use by Aug 31)
No selection defaults to Full Summer Lessons.
□ Withdrawing from Lessons
Email [email protected] with one full calendar month’s notice. Reschedule credits not usable toward final month.
