Our diverse group of teachers come from a wide variety of musical backgrounds, but all possess a passion for sharing their love of music. No instrument builds as strong of a musical foundation as the piano. Once mastered, students can easily transition to any instrument of choice. Our teachers teach students of all ages and ability levels, taking pianists as young as 3. We include the songs you want to learn, theory to grow your musical knowledge and exercises to build your technique. Younger students enjoy a game-driven theory and technique curriculum to grow their musicianship. Our engaging curriculum fosters creativity, critical thinking and builds a solid musical foundation. Our teachers adjust our curriculum to accommodate the individual goals and musical interests of each individual student.

Adam Haines - Founder & Piano Teacher
Adam founded Mobile Music in 2009, as a way to share his passion for music and the arts with his community. Adam has served as a Public School Music Teacher on the Main Line of Philadelphia for 17 years, has worked as a Liturgical Musician for over 20 years, and continues to perform in solo and collaborative settings. Adam has studied piano since the age of 5, and holds a Bachelor's in Music Education with concentrations in Piano and Voice from West Chester University, a Master's of Education from Cabrini College and completed Graduate Studies at UArts. Adam has released two albums of original compositions, Divine Whispers in 2005, Intersessions in 2016, and continues to compose. Adam grew Mobile Music on the belief that the arts are essential to full and well-rounded life, and to bring music to you.

Harry Forlenza-Bailey- Guitar, Piano, Woodwind, Brass A music educator with deep, heartfelt dedication. F-B has a Bachelor’s of Music in Jazz Trombone from Temple University (2014) and a Master’s of Music in Trombone Performance from the University of Denver (2018). A former Band Director, F-B has taught piano, guitar, trombone, trumpet, saxophone, flute, clarinet, drums, violin, viola, cello, bass, and more with 15 years of experience. His approach is regarded as flexible to each individual student to understand what they are learning, and how to develop further as musicians and performers. F-B many instruments and performs on many local and national stages, and works as a composer and arranger of music from his home. F-B is happy to be a part of the Mobile Music faculty.

Bill Baraldi- Guitar, Piano, Ukulele, and Percussion Performing for over two decades, Bill loves sharing his passion for music with all of his students. Bill holds a Bachelors in Music Business from West Chester University, where. A skilled instrumentalist, Bill created an instrument repair business, Delco Music Co., to provide repair services to his students and the broader music community. Bill’s music can be heard locally in the Philadelphia Region, and he brings over a decade of performance experience to share with his students. Bill's extensive work in the recording studio, instrument repair, and as a performer and teacher bring a wealth of skills to his students. Bill enjoys making music lessons fun and engaging, with each lesson tailored to the students goals and needs.

Steve Brod- Piano studied Piano Performance and Music Theory at the University of Virginia and enjoys performing regularly throughout the Philadelphia Area. In addition to his passion for performing, he holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Arts and Business, attending the Aspen Music Festival three times. His teaching style is encouraging, easy-going, patient, and understanding. Steve enjoys motivating his students to excel at the music they love, by encouraging regular performance opportunities in or out of their own homes.

Lydia Michelle Bujok- Piano studying piano since the age of 5, is a classically trained pianist, teacher and performer. A passionate accompanist, Lydia has accompanied both local adult and children’s choirs. She is the recipient of accolades and awards from The Royal School of Music and The NJMTA Music Competitions. Lydia enjoys recording her compositions in styles of contemporary, classical, pop and R&B. A dedicated and ambitious teacher, her hope is to impact her students by providing a thorough Music Education, and to touch their lives of her students with her extraordinary music.

Matthew Culbertson - Piano
Matthew is at heart, a storyteller. Whether drawing from works of classical literature, jazz innovations or contemporary music. He received his Bachelor in Music from Montclair State and a Masters in Piano Pedagogy from Temple's Boyer School of Music. His overarching goal is to bring beautiful and exciting works, both old and new to students and wider audiences. Matthew enjoys encouraging his students to be creative musicians, and to express their emotions and develop their own interpretations.

Maria Dell'Orefice - Piano & Strings
Maria holds a BA in Piano Performance from Baylor University, and is continuing graduate studies at Temple with Dr. Charles Abramovic. Maria thoroughly enjoys performing solo and chamber music, and has extensive accompanying experience. She recently performed Oliver Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time. Maria has studied violin since the age of 8, and position as Principal Second Violin in the Philadelphia Youth Symphony, and served violinist and pianist for the Baylor Symphony Orchestra and violinist in the Waco Symphony Orchestra. Maria has extensive experience teaching students of all ages, and enjoys guiding them towards a greater understanding of music by having fun with their instrument.

Samantha DiPompeo - Piano, Brass & Voice
Samantha graduated from Temple University's Boyer College of Music and Dance with her BS in Music Education, Voice Concentration. During her time at Temple, she played French Horn in the Wind Ensemble and performed with Temple's Concert Choir. Beyond Performance, her passion is sharing her love of music. She currently teaches K-6 General Music in a Philadelphia Charter School, and serves as Section Leader at Arch Street United Methodist Church in Center City.
Simone Dorsey- Piano, Woodwind, & Voice coming from a family of musicians and creatives, Simone's love for music grew at a young age. She began formally taking saxophone and piano lessons in her mother's studio at the age of 6, inspiring her to teach alongside her family. As a self-proclaimed "lifelong learner", Simone's passion for mastering new skills has fostered a successful career as a creative, leading her to perform regularly at Hershey Park. Simone strives to inspire the same playful curiosity and passion for learning in her students.

Christina Fish - Piano & Woodwinds
Christina attended Rowan University on scholarship, and holds a Bachelor's in Music with a concentrations in oboe, clarinet and piano. In 2005, she soloed with the University Orchestra as the winner of the Rowan Concerto Competition. Christina studied piano and woodwind pedagogy while remaining an active member of the University's MENC chapter. She has worked as a freelance musician throughout the region since 2004, including Principal Oboe for the Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey. Christina serves in the pit orchestra at the Broadway Theatre of Pitman on oboe/english horn/clarinet. She currently works in an elementary school helping children with special needs.

Gavin Laur- Piano has performed across the US, Italy and Russia including Pröseles Castle in Völs am Schlern, Italy and Jaani Kirk in St. Petersburg, Russia. He holds a BM in Piano Performance from Arizona State University and an MA in Liberal Arts from St. John's College in Annapolis, MD. He currently studies the Taubman Method of piano technique with Robert Durso in Philadelphia. As a teacher, Gavin believes that sharing a life-long love of music is the first priority in lessons. He works to meet each student's unique interests and personality, striving to provide the necessary tools for independent music making.

Sean O'Leary- Piano It's no wonder students LOVE Sean! An incredible jazz pianist, Sean makes lessons fun and creative. Sean studied music production and technology with a focus on jazz and contemporary music at the University of Hartford Hart School of Music. His combined knowledge of music performance and studio recording give him a unique perspective on what it takes to be a modern musician. Sean has been a student of piano since the age of eight, and in college had the opportunity to study with jazz legends Andy LaVerne and Nat Reeves. Since graduating, he passes his love and knowledge of music on to his students.

Justin Oquendo- Piano & Woodwind-
received a BA in Commercial Music and Saxophone Performance with minors in Jazz Studies and Audio Engineering from Kutztown University. Studying under notable pianists Neal Kirkwood and Daniel Immel and Broadway performer Adam Koller, Justin enjoys teaching classical and modern genres. Justin continues to play professionally in a variety of ensembles in Philadelphia and enjoys getting his students excited about music!

Tatyana Rashkovsky- Smolen - Piano & Voice A passionate teacher and musician, Tatyana loves sharing her talents and knowledge with her students. Tatyana was born in Moscow, Russia, where she received her Bachelor of Music at the Musical College of Moscow State Conservatory. Joining the LA Music Center Opera Company after moving to the US, some of her performance credits include: Die Vertraute in Electra, Enrichetta in Puritani and Lola in Cavalleria Rusticana. Tatyana continued her studies at Temple University, receiving a MM in Opera Performance. Tatyana is currently on faculty at St. David's Episcopal Day School and Director of the Youth Choir at Beth Chaim Reform Congregation in Malvern. One of her greatest joys is sharing her passion for and knowledge of music with her students.

Keturah Russell- Piano A classical pianist with over 20 years of musical experience. She began teaching herself piano at age four and took lessons at age six. She has taught music to hundreds of students in groups and one on one. She is a composer, arranger and music producer and a graduate from Hampton University, where she studied Communications and Psychology. Her multifaceted background is the foundation for her creativity and effectiveness during piano lessons!

Chris Schutz- Bass, Guitar, Piano & Voice Learn from an incredible performer! Chris has been teaching music lessons for close to twenty years since moving from his hometown of Kansas City to the East Coast. In addition to his passion for teaching bass, guitar and ukulele, Chris continues to tour, record and perform with a number of ensembles both in Philadelphia and across the United States. He holds a degree in Music Composition from the Community College of Philadelphia in addition to studying Music Theory at the Boyer School at Temple University.

Alice Yang- Piano Falling in love with music from a young age, from watching the progression of her mother's piano students, Alice received her Bachelor's in Piano Performance from the National Taipei University of Education. A recent graduate of Temple University, Hsin-Han earned a dual Master's in Piano Performance and Collaborative Piano and Chamber Music. Some of her performance credits include: Chamber Pianist at Barry University, Colby College and Curtis Field Concert Hall. Her greatest love is helping her students master the music they love.
