The qualified professional piano instructors at Mobile Music LLC have the skill and experience to give students a well-rounded and fundamentally sound education, while also pursuing the student's unique interests in goals. Whether it's a young student who loves a particular musical game, a teen who wants to learn Taylor Swift songs, or an adult learning how to sight read Bach preludes, we can include your interests alongside the piano fundamentals that will help you improve.
Our lessons are uplifting and encouraging. We don't expect every student to pursue a music scholarship at Bryn Mawr College, and we don't require our students take ABRSM exams or compete in regional contests. We will assign practice material that fits within your time constraints, and our primary goal is to help students learn to love the piano and want to play it more. We also work with parents to set appropriate goals for their children.

Well-Rounded Piano Lessons For All Ages
Piano Lessons For Kids and Teens in Bryn Mawr
We love working with young children, those in upper elementary or middle school, or students just a couple of years away from college. With children, we assign age-appropriate tunes and exercises, and we'll get them playing the piano right in their first lesson. They will also learn how to sit properly, read notes on the staff, count rhythms, and practice in short increments on their own at home. We provide detailed practice materials every week. Our young students love lessons, and we are never harsh or demanding.
We also enjoy working with teens, whether they are beginners or have previous musical experience. We will often assign incrementally more challenging intermediate or early advanced music that will force them to practice carefully, communicate challenging musical lines through better dynamics, and work on their finger technique. We can sometimes identify deficiencies in reading ability, ear training, and other areas that will lead to rapid improvement. We also help particularly motivated students prepare for auditions or college admission. We'll develop an impressive repertoire list, hold mock juries, and help them with their music theory fundamentals.

Our teachers come to your home at a time that works for you, and whether you are fitting lessons in the after-school hours, during the day on a homeschooling schedule, or after a busy work day, we are here to help. Teachers Who Can Play Our teachers play the piano at a pro level, and we have earned degrees and given many recitals and performances. We demonstrate concepts to our students (even the most advanced ones), and you or your child will benefit greatly from in-person, private piano lessons where you can watch an expert play the piano up close. This is much more effective than simply follow a Faber method book at home, watching YouTube videos, or trying to teach yourself. |
