Students Love Our In-Home Lessons
Mobile Music LLC has been helping piano students fall in love with music for over 15 years, and we would love to teach you or your child on a weekly basis. Our teachers work with students in their homes in Ardmore, and we are also happy to teach students online. For information about availability, how our lessons are structured, or anything else, please get in touch.
Stress in lessons is one of the greatest roadblocks to success at the piano. Students don’t retain as much information when they are under pressure, and they will never perform at their best. In-home piano lessons remove that stress. Your child will be able enjoy the piano in their home environment, and we love watching our students simply be themselves.
Adults also enjoy in-home lessons. It’s easy to schedule lessons between meetings, after work, or on weekends, and you don’t need to worry about calling another Uber or commuting to a physical location.
For those who want to save as much time as possible, we can also teach students online. We know how to position cameras in a way that facilitates piano learning, and we can advise you on how to set up your “home studio” area for lessons.

What Our Students Learn in Piano Lessons
Every lesson is personalized for the student. Beginners will learn notes on the keyboard and on the staff, how to sit at the piano, how to play without tension in the hands, and how to identify scale and chord patterns. We prioritize a well-rounded piano education, so you will learn basic music theory, arpeggios, playing by ear, how to sight read piano music, sharps and flats, rhythm and time signatures, and all of the other fundamentals. We want our students to be able to play at an advanced level, so we give you all of the tools you need to succeed.
While we teach fundamental piano concepts to every student, we also use your goals and preferences as a guide. For young students, we use skill level-appropriate arrangements of their favorite songs and musical themes. We love to know what music gets our students excited. For adults, we’ll help you improve in the aspect of music that you think about the most, whether that be Chopin, show tunes, jazz, rock, pop, composition, or playing by ear. Let us know what you want to accomplish, and we’ll help you get there.
All Skill Levels Welcome
Prior experience or an audition is not required for enrollment at Mobile Music LLC. We enjoy teaching pre-college and adult beginners as much as we love helping advanced pianists break through their skill plateau. We have 15+ years of experience working with students of all skill levels, and we know how to structure lessons for every stage of the piano journey.
If you’ve never played the piano before, we’ll start with technique, note reading, and keyboard topography. We’ll also make it a point to give you fulfilling tunes, music, and exercises to play even at the very beginning. With intermediate and advanced pianists, we’ll quickly assess your strengths and weaknesses, and assign music and drills that will help you improve quickly. Some pianists struggle with interpretation, while others need to improve their finger speed so they can play competition-level music like Prokofief, Bartok or Rachmaninoff. Whatever the case may be, we can help you reach your goals on the piano.
