Are you ready for some show-stopping performances? Our upcoming Pop & Rock Recital is happening on May 16th at 7:00 PM and May 18th at 1:00 PM, and we can’t wait to see our K-12 students take the stage. This recital is all about having fun, showcasing what they’ve learned, and letting their talents shine for family and friends.
Why This Recital Matters
For many students, a recital is the highlight of their musical journey and a chance to demonstrate their hard work and growth. Performing in front of a live audience helps kids build confidence, develop stage presence, and gain valuable experience that extends well beyond the music room.

Tips for a Confident Performance

• Practice in “Performance Mode.” Encourage your child to run through their piece without stopping to correct mistakes. It helps them get used to playing all the way through, just like they will on stage.
  
• Relax and Breathe. Nerves are natural! Remind them to take a few deep breaths before playing. A calm mind leads to a smoother performance.
  
• Embrace Mistakes. It’s easy to get stuck on a wrong note, but the show must go on. Encourage them to keep going and focus on the fun of performing.
  
• Celebrate Progress. Performing isn’t just about the final moment on stage; it’s about all the small steps they took to get there.
